Discovery Woods won’t open as a public charter school for the 2010/11 school year. Discovery Woods will continue development while it waits for its sponsor, the Audubon Center of the North Woods, to be approved by the Department of Education. 

Official student admission forms will not be available until the sponsor has ben approved and the school chartered.

Discovery Woods will be located in Brainerd in a building between the Veterans Affairs (VA) clinic and the Northland Arboretum.
